Basketball Shooter Mobility Exercise: Unlock Your Elbow Position with a Foam Roller

If you're struggling to get your elbow up on your jump shot, it may be a shoulder mobility issue—not your shooting form.

In this short video, we show you a simple but powerful drill using a foam roller on the wall.

The goal: maintain a straight line from your shoulder to your wrist, and a neutral spine as you roll upward.

This teaches your body how to control shoulder flexion in the exact range needed for shooting.

Better mobility = better arc, better range, and less effort on your shot.
